How many folios are there today?

There are about 232 that were made, and there are 82  folios that

are known to survive today, each holding the 36 Shakespeare plays

in each one. These folios were prepared by  John Heminges, and

Henry Condell. The first folio is the

only reliable manuscript source for about 20 of the plays

through out the world.
